October marked three years since Bloomz by Miranda opened its doors in a little room off the back of Snips Salon in historic Irvington. Miranda's dream to own a flower shop was the combination of a little synchronicity, faith and kindness of the Irvington community. After two years, Miranda and Marti Icenogle decided to look for a space together which would provide first floor studio space for Marti's jewelry and print art and Miranda's need for a main street storefront. With the advent of the Studio School closing its doors, the two formed Blooming Dragon Emporium which incorporates all local art and artisans, fresh flowers and classes all under one roof! We just celebrated our one year anniversary which coincided with the Irvington Halloween Festival and figured it's time for Bloomz to have its own blog.
So, this is a welcome to all - loyal customers and potential new ones! Please come see me at the shop, and remember us for all your gift needs.
