August 14th - Check Out The Blooming List of Artisans @ Bloomz



Bloomz will open at its new location, 130 South Audubon Rd., on Tuesday, July 6th and will continue to offer the same wonderful floral services you have come to count on over the last four years. However, now Miranda is adding a unique specialty tea room featuring a floral theme. Beginning Second Saturday, August 14th, you will see the beginnings of a transformation of space and the nucleus of what will shortly become The Irvington Iris Tea Room. Officially opening Saturday, October 9th,with a Grand Opening Soiree, you are most welcome to pop in often between July and October 9th to see our progress, and check out our local and gifted artisans.

Those already on board as artistic partners are the following:

Kris Hubick - antique typewriter key necklaces and other vintage style jewelry, collage sheets
Sue Hardcastle - stained glass ornaments and windchimes
Tina Cox - mosaic, garden and home items
Anita Hopper - repurposed leather purses and bracelets
Ponsawan Silapuruti - polymer clay artist and watercolor original flower notecards and prints
Steve Keller - oil paintings and prints
Laura Hildreth - watercolorist
Emily Clark - custom made headpieces for brides
Tina Icenogle - hand strung pearl and/or Swarovski crystal necklaces for brides Kat Thompson - watercolorist - greeting cards and note cards
Gina Walker - all natural aromatherapy soaps
Ginny Taylor-Rosner - hand stitched, hand made paper journals
Eileen Cantin - watercolorist and greeting cards
Colleen Lauter - watercolorist, greeting and note cards
Todd George - antique window framed photography of Irvington
Loretta Snead - aromatherapy soy candles

Those wishing to become artistic partners please note that your craft must have floral, garden or nature as its theme. Feel free to call the shop at 317-356-4400 during business hours to discuss your interest directly with Miranda.

During Second Saturday festivities, there will be a drawing for a gift from one of our artisans and on Second Saturday, August 14th that prize will be a set of four lovely notecards, featuring The Trees of Irvington, created by Miranda herself. MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN!
