The Iris Tea Room has closed its doors February 27, 2012

Dear Patrons and Inquirers,

It is with a heavy heart that I let you know I've closed the doors to the tea room the end of February. While I very much enjoyed the process of planning and executing one of my life's dreams, the day-to-day stress wreaked havoc with my health. Having just celebrated my 61st birthday, and with another new granddaughter and a loving significant other in my life, it is time for me to slow down and enjoy the blessings in my life. My health must be my priority so, God-willing, I may have many more years to appreciate this life I've been given and the gifts it brings.

Thank you for your patronage and support throughout the growth of the Iris Tea Room. It has been an incredible blessing to have met each and every one of you!

Love and light to you,
Miranda

  1. Belated Happy Birthday...any may you see many more, also congratulations on the newest addition to your family. Grandchildren are like leaves around the tree! We are sad to see you close your doors but it is clearly understood. Life is a gift and the gift you gave to this community is truly appreciated. God be with you and your family.
